My work as a counselor is deeply shaped by my Christian faith and the understanding that true healing happens when we address both the heart and the mind. For Christians, faith is central to how they understand life, suffering, and hope. In counseling, I make room for that. Your beliefs are not something to work around; they will be a meaningful part of the work we do together.
I specialize in counseling women who are navigating major life transitions, healing from trauma, and managing the emotional and mental health challenges that often come with both.
Counseling does not have to feel intimidating or overly clinical. It should feel safe, respectful, and focused on real change. I also believe there is value in laughter. Healing work is serious, but appropriate humor can bring relief and help people feel more at ease.
My personal experiences have shaped how I approach counseling. I navigated multiple career transitions while relocating often during my husband’s more than 20 years of military service. Those years taught me flexibility, patience, and how to rebuild when life changes unexpectedly. They also allowed me to connect with people from many different backgrounds and helped guide me toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor.
My goal is simple: to support you in finding clarity, growth, and stability in a way that aligns with Christian values and honors your faith. Counseling here is practical, respectful, and grounded in both biblical truth and sound clinical care.
Family, faith, and laughter bring me the greatest joy. I love being outdoors — traveling, biking, paddle boarding, or reading a good book in the sunshine — and I never pass up a chance to spend time with dogs.
